The popular TVF series Panchayat marked its fifth anniversary on April 3, 2025. The comedy-drama first premiered on Prime Video on April 3, 2020, and has grown into one of the most beloved Indian web series.
On this special occasion, fans got a long-awaited surprise — the announcement of Panchayat Season 4’s release date.
Panchayat Season 4 to Premiere on July 2
The makers have officially confirmed that Panchayat Season 4 will premiere on July 2, 2025. The news was shared through a fun promotional video featuring actor Jitendra Kumar, television actress Gia Manek, and internet sensation Darshan Magdum.
Star-Studded Cast Returns
The ensemble cast includes Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha.
Season 3 of the show had premiered in May 2024, and the buzz for the fourth season has been growing ever since.
The Viral Promo That Broke the Internet
Prime Video released a quirky promo video on Instagram to reveal the new season’s premiere date.
The clip stars Jitendra Kumar, along with social media influencers Bhupendra Jogi, Darshan Magdum, and Vijay Magdum, and TV actress Gia Manek, known for her role as Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
The video opens with Darshan Magdum singing, “Panchayat hatao, naukri bacaho (Remove Panchayat, save jobs),” in his typical karaoke fashion.
Gia Manek is then shown washing study books with soap, a nod to the viral moment from her TV show where she washes a laptop.
She jokes that Panchayat has been taking credit for all memes and criticizes the viral phrase, “Ek-ek chai hojaaye (Shall we have tea together?),” saying, “It’s just a sentence.”
A Word from Jeetu Bhaiya
Jitendra Kumar enters the scene and shares his perspective on viral content, saying, “Internet wants a meme that goes viral all over the world. Don’t run after being viral, create a moment.”
He briefly shifts from his Panchayat character Abhishek to Jeetu Bhaiya from Kota Factory, delivering the line, “Panchayat has turned five now; where do you see yourself in five years?”
He then confirms that the new season will arrive this year. Gia responds with, “If it’s coming this year, then can we drink green tea while sitting on a tank?” but Jitendra playfully runs away without replying.
The video ends with the official announcement that Season 4 of Panchayat will be available from July 2.
Fans React with Joy
The announcement sparked a flood of reactions from fans online. One user commented, “Is universe ko kya naam du?” while another wrote, “Prime is doing the real multiverse of madness.” Another quipped, “We got this collab before GTA 6!” and one jokingly called it the “Brainrot final boss.”

The new season promises to bring back the core characters: Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar), Pradhan Ji (Raghubir Yadav), Manju Devi (Neena Gupta), Vikas (Chandan Roy), Prahlad (Faisal Malik), and the charming villagers of Phulera.
Their lives and bonds are expected to evolve with fresh stories, challenges, and humorous moments in the upcoming season.
