Kushal Tanwar Wins Roadies XX From Elvish Yadav’s Gang; Hartaaj Gill Named Runner-Up

The finale of Roadies Double Cross (Roadies XX) aired on MTV on Sunday, where Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, from Elvish Yadav’s gang, was crowned the winner of the season.

Hartaaj Singh Gill from Prince Narula’s gang emerged as the first runner-up. Elvish Yadav later expressed how “overwhelmed” he felt about the victory through an Instagram post.

The final task between Gullu and Hartaaj was a close one. While Hartaaj completed the challenge in 1 minute and 48 seconds, Gullu outperformed him with a time of 1 minute and 16 seconds.

Gullu’s Journey: Elimination, Wildcard, and Loyalty

Initially part of Elvish Yadav’s gang, Gullu faced early elimination. However, he made a dramatic return as a wildcard during an auction round.

Gautam Gulati invested the maximum wins to bring Gullu into his gang. Despite this, Gullu had a chance to double-cross after winning the ticket to the finale.

He was offered a choice to join other gang leaders, including Rhea Chakraborty, Prince Narula, or Neha Dhupia. In a shocking yet emotional decision, Gullu chose to return to Elvish Yadav’s gang, leaving Gautam disappointed.

A Grand Victory with Rewards

With his win, Gullu took home a Hero Karizma XMR bike and a cash prize of ₹10 lakh, among other rewards. As Ranvijay Singha announced Gullu as the champion, Elvish Yadav could not contain his excitement.

Elvish Yadav Reflects on the Win

After the finale, Elvish said, “Gullu aur mera jo bond tha- ye mera pehla Roadie tha jo maine liya tha. Usi ke saath mein aaj main yaha khada hu. Very happy. Super happy.”

This season marked Elvish Yadav’s debut as a gang leader on Roadies, and the experience was clearly special for him.

He shared pictures from his Roadies journey on Instagram and wrote, “I’m completely overwhelmed with emotions right now! I’m thrilled to announce that my brother Kushal Tanwar (Gullu) and I have WON the season of Roadies Double Cross! This journey has been an incredible ride, and I’m so grateful to have shared it with my bro! We did it, Gullu!”

Other Finalists and Celebrations

Apart from Gullu and Hartaaj, other finalists included Rishabh Sachdev, Rohit Singh, RD Dedha, and Priya Sharma. Each represented different gangs, with Rishabh from Neha Dhupia’s team, Rohit from Rhea Chakraborty’s gang, and RD from Gautam Gulati’s group.

Following the announcement, all the gang leaders, including Neha, Gautam, Prince, and Rhea, congratulated Gullu on his hard-earned victory.

A Season of Twists and High Drama

MTV Roadies XX concluded on June 1 with an action-packed finale featuring the top five contestants. Gullu’s victory stood out not just for his performance but also for his resilience and sportsmanship.
