Aamir Khan Joins Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ for High-Octane Climax Face-Off

Aamir Khan is currently enjoying the success of his latest comedy-drama, Sitaare Zameen Par. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film has managed to collect ₹82.40 crore in India within just six days of its release, as per Sacnilk.com.

Its worldwide box office earnings have already touched ₹123 crore. Up next, Aamir will be seen in a special appearance in Megastar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and scheduled to release on August 14. Reports about Aamir’s role in the film have been circulating online.

Aamir Khan and Rajinikanth’s Action-Packed Face-Off

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Aamir Khan will appear in the final 15 minutes of Coolie, participating in an intense, action-filled sequence with Rajinikanth.

Sources close to the production revealed to Pinkvilla, “Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan will star in Coolie, which will include an intense action and confrontation sequence. Known for his perfectionism, the Bollywood actor had a 10-day shoot schedule for Coolie for a scene that went beyond a mere cameo.

The two icons will be sharing the screen space in a high-energy face-off packed with dramatic conversation and gripping action.”

Aamir Khan Shares His Experience Working in Coolie

In a recent conversation with Zoom, Aamir Khan shared how he came on board for Coolie.

He said, “I absolutely enjoyed doing it. I am a huge fan of Rajini sir. I adore and respect him. So, I didn’t even hear the script. When Lokesh informed me that it was Rajini sir’s film and that he wanted me to play a cameo, I replied, ‘Done.’ I’m doing it. Whatever it is, I’m doing it.”

Coolie Climax Shot in Rajasthan

The much-talked-about climax of Coolie, featuring Aamir and Rajinikanth’s confrontation, was filmed in Rajasthan.

Lokesh Kanagaraj has already confirmed that Coolie will be a stand-alone project and not part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).

Coolie Music Video Released

The official music video from Coolie was released on Wednesday, June 25. Titled Chikitu, the vibrant dance track features politician T Rajendar, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, choreographer Sandy, and lyricist Arivu.

All of them make lively appearances in the video, setting the stage ablaze with their dance moves around a giant cutout of Rajinikanth.
