Allu Arjun–Atlee’s AA22×A6 in Talks for Hollywood Tie-Up; Makers Eye Global Reach

Superstar Allu Arjun’s next film with director Atlee is shaping up as one of the grandest projects in Indian cinema. Tentatively titled AA22×A6, the film has already gone on floors.

Backed by Sun Pictures, the makers recently completed filming a large-scale introductory sequence, setting the tone for an ambitious cinematic journey.

Talks of Hollywood Collaboration

According to a report by 123Telugu, the makers are in early discussions with a leading Hollywood studio for a co-production deal.

While details remain undisclosed, this move hints at a potential global partnership that could significantly boost the film’s international presence.

Reports also suggest that the production team is considering working with a USA-based creative agency to design a global marketing campaign. This strategic push reflects a clear intent to promote the film beyond the Indian market, appealing to worldwide audiences.

Allu Arjun to Play Multiple Roles

A major highlight of AA22×A6 is Allu Arjun’s reported quadruple role. The actor is expected to portray four generations within one family—a grandfather, a father, and two sons.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “It’s a first for him and a cinematic challenge few would dare attempt. He’s breathing life into an entire family tree.”

Initially, Atlee had reservations, but it was Allu Arjun who insisted on playing all four roles and conducted look tests. The results, according to reports, exceeded expectations.

“It wasn’t just working; it was elevating the film to another level. Viewers will get to witness four distinct shades of Allu Arjun in one film,” the source added.

Multiple Leading Ladies to Star Alongside

The project is also expected to feature several top actresses. Deepika Padukone, who has allotted 100 days to the film, will share screen space with Allu Arjun in action-driven and dramatic sequences.

Adding to the star power, Janhvi Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Mrunal Thakur are reportedly cast in pivotal roles. Speculation also surrounds Ramya Krishnan’s possible inclusion, which, if confirmed, would mark her first collaboration with both Atlee and Allu Arjun.

Deepika Padukone’s Warrior Role

A Pinkvilla report revealed details about Deepika Padukone’s character. A source stated, “Deepika Padukone has begun prep for the film and is expected to join the set in the month of November 2025.

She has allotted 100 days for the film shoot and is expected to can dramatic and action-packed sequences through the journey. It’s Deepika Padukone like never before along with Allu Arjun. The team has designed a special look of a warrior as also weapons for Deepika’s character.”

The film is also said to explore the idea of a parallel universe, with both Deepika and Allu Arjun playing multiple roles. Production is expected to continue until September 2026, with the makers planning a theatrical release in the latter half of 2027.

A source added, “Allu Arjun has blocked his calendar exclusively for Atlee’s next and is passionately giving it all to the most prestigious film of his career.”

Alongside AA22×A6, Deepika Padukone also has a cameo in King. A source revealed, “King and Atlee’s next will mark the first two shoots for DP after becoming a mother. She will be juggling between the two projects from the end of 2026.”

Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, which continued the saga of his iconic character Pushpa Raj.

The actor has also signed Trivikram Srinivas’s socio-mythological fantasy, described as a mythological drama with a contemporary spin. Additionally, he will reprise his role in the much-awaited Pushpa 3, further extending his blockbuster franchise.
