Linkin Park to Perform in India for the First Time at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse in 2026
The lineup for Lollapalooza India 2026 has officially been revealed, bringing together some of the biggest names in international and Indian music.
The two-day event will take place on January 24–25, 2026, at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The festival, now in its fourth edition, promises more than 40 artists performing across four stages.
Among the highlights is Linkin Park, who confirmed yesterday that they will perform in India for the first time.
The rock band, who reunited in 2024 with their comeback album From Zero, will take the stage as part of their ongoing world tour. Their appearance marks one of the most anticipated performances in the festival’s history.
Headliners and International Debuts
The 2026 edition will feature several international artists making their India debut. Playboi Carti is set to perform for the first time in the country, accompanied by his Opium labelmates Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang.
British singer YUNGBLUD, R&B artist Kehlani, and electronic producer Knock2 will also headline.
Other global acts on the bill include pop band LANY, Japanese pianist Fujii Kaze, Canadian group Mother Mother, electronic duo The Midnight, and producer Sammy Virji.
Fans can expect a wide range of genres, from rock and hip-hop to R&B and electronic music.
Indian Representation on the Lineup
Alongside international stars, the lineup showcases Indian talent across multiple genres. Heavy metal band Bloodywood, singer-songwriter Ankur Tewari & The Ghalat Family, and electronic duo OAFF-Savera are among the leading names. Karsh Kale will also bring his signature fusion sound to the stage.
Emerging Indian artists such as MXRCI, Sen, Zoya and Gauley Bhai will be part of the roster, reflecting the festival’s mission to highlight both established and rising local acts. More than 40 artists are expected to perform, ensuring diverse representation throughout the event.
Lollapalooza’s Growing Legacy in India
Since its India debut in 2023, Lollapalooza has steadily expanded its presence. The first edition featured Imagine Dragons, The Strokes and Jackson Wang.
In 2024, the lineup included The Jonas Brothers, Sting, Halsey and OneRepublic, while the 2025 festival brought Green Day, Shawn Mendes and Glass Animals to Mumbai.
Produced by BookMyShow Live in collaboration with Perry Farrell and C3 Presents, Lollapalooza India has become one of the country’s most prominent international music events. Its annual mix of global and local acts continues to draw fans from across the region.

Linkin Park’s Long-Awaited India Debut
For Linkin Park, Lollapalooza India 2026 will be a landmark. The band will headline on January 25, the festival’s second day, as part of their From Zero World Tour.
The tour follows their 2024 comeback, which introduced new members Emily Armstrong, Colin Brittain and Alex Federer, alongside founding members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell and Joe Hahn.
In a statement to fans, Shinoda said: “India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them.”
Their return ended a seven-year hiatus after the death of Chester Bennington in 2017. Since reuniting, the group has released new music, including the single The Emptiness Machine, and toured extensively across North America, Europe and Asia.
Looking Ahead
With more than 40 international and local acts performing across two days, Lollapalooza India 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting editions yet.
Past lineups have brought major global artists, but the addition of Linkin Park for their long-awaited India debut sets this year apart.
The Mumbai stop falls between the band’s Middle East and European tour dates, making India part of one of their most extensive world tours in years.
For fans, the upcoming festival represents not only the chance to see some of the biggest names in music but also a historic moment in Linkin Park’s career.
