‘Jolly LLB 3’ Teaser: Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi Lock Horns in Courtroom Comedy Chaos
The teaser of Subhash Kapoor’s much-awaited film Jolly LLB 3 was unveiled on Tuesday, bringing together Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in a courtroom face-off that promises both laughter and drama.
The third instalment in the franchise also sees Saurabh Shukla return as Judge Tripathi, once again exasperated by the antics of the two Jollys.
The Teaser: Two Jollys, One Courtroom
The 90-second teaser begins by reintroducing Arshad Warsi as advocate Jagdish Tyagi, also known as Jolly from Meerut. Soon after, Akshay Kumar enters as Jagadishwar Mishra, the Jolly from Kanpur.
While Tyagi insists he has changed, Mishra wastes no time in challenging him in court. Their clashes leave Judge Tripathi, played by Saurabh Shukla, frustrated as he declares that both Jollys exist only to ruin his life. The teaser even includes a witty “Kallu Mama” joke, referencing Shukla’s earlier iconic role.

About the Film and Franchise
Jolly LLB 3 follows Jolly LLB (2013) and Jolly LLB 2 (2017). The first film starred Arshad Warsi, while the second was headlined by Akshay Kumar. Both films earned box-office success, with the first becoming a sleeper hit and the second declared a superhit.
The third part is produced by Aruna Bhatia, Dimple Kharbanda, and Naren Kumar, along with Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare under Star Studio 18. Subhash Kapoor has written and directed the film, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 19, 2025.
Judge Tripathi Returns
One of the highlights of the series has always been Judge Tripathi, played by Saurabh Shukla. Known for his sarcastic wit and sharp judgments, the character has become iconic.
Shukla won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for the role and reprised it in Jolly LLB 2. In the new teaser, his expressions and dialogues once again steal the show, as he finds himself trapped between two equally stubborn lawyers.
Amrita Rao’s Comeback
The teaser also gave a glimpse of Amrita Rao, marking her return to films after six years since Thackeray.
Fans celebrated her comeback, with one commenting, “They’re treating this as a real sequel to both previous movies. If done well, it will improve the rewatchability of all 3 movies.”
Another wrote, “So happy to see the female leads being retained in a franchise. This hardly happens.”
Amrita first appeared in Jolly LLB (2013), where she played Sandhya, the supportive girlfriend of Arshad’s Jolly.
Though her role was limited, it provided emotional depth to the story. Her return has been warmly welcomed by audiences who missed her on screen.
The Women of Jolly LLB
While Amrita Rao featured in the first part, the second film starred Huma Qureshi as Pushpa Pandey, wife of Akshay’s Jolly Mishra.
Her spirited presence added layers to the storyline, reminding audiences of the personal stakes behind the courtroom battles. Fans are hopeful that Jolly LLB 3 will give space to both Amrita Rao and Huma Qureshi, enhancing the narrative beyond just legal conflicts.
A Star-Studded Ensemble
Jolly LLB 3 boasts a stellar cast, including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao, Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, Tej Sapru, Sharat Saxena, and Gajraj Rao.
With such an ensemble, the film promises a mix of comedy, drama, and sharp courtroom exchanges.
Anticipation for Release
With the teaser generating immense buzz, expectations are high for Jolly LLB 3. Fans are not only looking forward to the courtroom clashes between Akshay and Arshad but are also excited about the reunion of the original cast members.
