After 105 days filled with emotional highs and lows, Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 18, securing the coveted trophy and a prize of Rs 50 lakh.

In the grand finale, he triumphed over his friend-turned-rival, Vivian Dsena, with whom he shared a rollercoaster relationship throughout the show.

Karan’s victory was a moment to celebrate, as he had been a strong contender from the start, often in the limelight for his dramatic confrontations and heartfelt connections with fellow contestants.

Karan’s Relationships and Controversies on the Show

From the beginning, Karan’s participation in Bigg Boss 18 was marked by intense drama. His disagreements with Vivian Dsena sparked significant attention, but it wasn’t all conflict.

His relationship with co-contestant Chum Darang also became a focal point when Karan openly expressed his affection for her on national television.

Another notable aspect of Karan’s time on the show was his relationship with Shilpa Shirodkar, which kept viewers on the edge of their seats due to the emotional turmoil it created.

When Karan shared pictures holding his trophy on Instagram, he jubilantly declared, “The moment we all have been waiting for is finally HERE! JANTA KA LAADLA has won.”

He continued, “Bigg Boss 18 ka asli hero is back to his backbones and with the Trophy as promised. You all have showed the true power of the neutral audience. #KVMNation and #KaranKeVeeron, this victory belongs to you.”

The Finale and Special Appearances

The Bigg Boss 18 finale, hosted by Salman Khan, saw some star-studded appearances. Veer Pahariya promoted his debut film Sky Force, while Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan recreated a famous scene from Andaz Apna Apna, delighting fans.

Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor also graced the stage to promote their upcoming movie Loveyapa. The finale was a grand spectacle that added more excitement to the already intense atmosphere of the show.

Addressing Allegations and Friendship with Vivian Dsena

Following his victory, Karan Veer Mehra responded to allegations that he used money to buy votes and media support.

Laughing off the accusations, Karan told India Today Digital, “I wish I had that kind of money, I wouldn’t have needed to do this show. Imagine buying the media! But it’s like someone losing the race often gives lame excuses like my shoelace opened. People say all kinds of things, it’s all part of the game.”

Karan also discussed his relationship with Vivian Dsena, who came in second place. Despite their past friendship, things became tense when Karan made a controversial remark about Vivian’s daughter.

Reflecting on their bond, Karan remarked, “We were so nervous towards the end of the show that I think we found our friendship back. But now that I won the trophy, I don’t know where he stands. Usse pucho relationship status kya hai.”

Reflecting on His Bigg Boss 18 Journey

Karan admitted that he always aspired to win and was prepared to give his best. Speaking about the journey, he noted, “I have always aimed for the best, the top. It’s all about the luck of how things would shape later, but one has to hope for the best.”

He mentioned the personal struggles he faced, from being insulted to seeing friends succeed ahead of him, but expressed gratitude toward his fans for supporting him. “Now, if my fans keep supporting me, I really hope to go far in life,” Karan shared.

When questioned about his early participation in the game, which some perceived as passive, Karan clarified, “I didn’t want to get involved in juvenile fights at the start of the show but I was making some personal connections. I did realize mid-way that I may fall behind them and thus went all out. But I have always been part of the game from day one.”

Candid Moments and Future Plans

Reflecting on the most memorable moments of his time on Bigg Boss 18, Karan highlighted tasks like lifting Edin and trimming Rajat’s beard as his high points.

He also acknowledged that the roast with Vivian was a low point in their friendship, one that he now regrets.

Despite the ups and downs, Karan expressed gratitude for his fans’ support and remarked, “I share this trophy with all those who have voted and loved me and of course the media who I have not paid.”

Looking ahead, Karan quipped, “I have gotten used to winning, I want to have a hat-trick now. So please Colors TV announce another show now which I could win, maybe Laughter Chefs.”
