Leaked Avengers: Doomsday Set Photo Reveals The Thing, U.S. Agent, and Falcon in Mysterious Spaceship

A new leak from the set of Avengers: Doomsday has surfaced online, offering fans a glimpse of a significant superhero crossover.

Photos shared by MCUnewsrumors show three major Marvel characters together in costume—Joaquin Torres as Falcon (Danny Ramirez), John Walker/US Agent (Wyatt Russell), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).

The scene appears to be set on a spaceship, surrounded by bluescreen backdrops, hinting at a cosmic setting.

While these characters were already confirmed to be part of the film, the image marks the first visual of these diverse Marvel teams interacting.

Avengers, Thunderbolts, and Fantastic Four Unite

The three characters represent different superhero factions. Falcon is part of the new Avengers team being formed by Sam Wilson. US Agent belongs to the Thunderbolts/New Avengers squad, while The Thing is a member of the Fantastic Four.

At the end of Captain America: Brave New World, Sam Wilson suggests forming a new team, seemingly in conflict with the Thunderbolts.

This on-set image implies that any rivalry is resolved early in Avengers: Doomsday. The Fantastic Four, introduced in their standalone film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, were expected to remain in a separate universe.

However, a post-credits scene from Thunderbolts hinted at their integration into the main MCU timeline.

Setting and Details from the Set Photo

The leaked image shows a setting resembling the bridge of a spacecraft. The backdrop includes retro-style screens and consoles. Falcon appears fully recovered from the injuries sustained in Brave New World.

US Agent now wears a black beret, and Moss-Bachrach is seen in a motion-capture suit, suggesting digital rendering for The Thing.

Fans speculate that this scene involves these three heroes staying behind to protect Earth while the main Avengers head to the X-Men universe. This theory stems from previously leaked scenes reportedly set at the X-Mansion.

Plot Leaks Hint at a Multiversal Battle

Rumors about the Avengers: Doomsday storyline suggest a multiversal crisis involving characters from the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.

The film is said to begin with a battle against Doctor Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., across multiple realities.

According to insider James Mack, Shuri is the first to detect “Incursions”—events where different universes begin to collide.

She shares her findings with Sam Wilson, Wong, Bruce Banner, and Carol Danvers using a hologram. Meanwhile, the Fantastic Four’s arrival on Earth-616 takes place, with the New Avengers encountering them first.

Doctor Doom and the Search for Franklin Richards

Reed Richards reveals that Doctor Doom has kidnapped his son Franklin Richards. Galactus had previously targeted Franklin due to his immense powers. Unsure how to handle the situation, Bucky seeks guidance from Sam.

Shuri assembles a team in Wakanda, including Sam, Wong, Bruce, Carol, Thor, Bucky, Yelena, Namor, M’Baku, and the Fantastic Four.

She reveals that another universe is nearing Earth-616. Carol Danvers realizes Monica Rambeau is trapped in that universe, and Reed locates Franklin there too, confirming Doom’s presence.

The Multiversal Rescue Mission Begins

To access this alternate universe, Wong enlists America Chavez. Most of the heroes embark on a mission to rescue Monica and Franklin, and to stop Doctor Doom. Wong remains behind while the team learns that Doom is allied with Loki and the TVA.

The behind-the-scenes photo showing Falcon, US Agent, and The Thing has heightened anticipation, as it visually confirms the merging of multiple superhero teams.
