The Traitors Episode 4: Maheep Kapoor Voted Out Amid Rising Suspicions
The fourth episode of Prime Video’s reality game show The Traitors premiered on June 19, continuing the suspenseful hunt between traitors and innocents.
This week, three contestants—Maheep Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Raftaar—were eliminated, shaking up the competition and highlighting the growing control of the traitors in the game.
Maheep Kapoor Voted Out Amid Doubts
During the fourth episode, the ‘Circle of Shaq’ deliberations led to suspicion falling on Maheep Kapoor and Raftaar.
Raftaar voiced his belief that Maheep had been playing a strategic game from the start and had earned significant trust among her fellow contestants. In her defence, Maheep stated, “I am done,” reiterating that she had always claimed her innocence.
Despite her defence, the votes turned against her, and Maheep was eliminated from the game.
When her identity as an innocent was revealed, it left many contestants shocked. Meanwhile, Mukesh Chhabra was the one murdered earlier that morning by the traitors, adding to the mounting tension.
Fiery Clash Between Uorfi, Sufi, and Raftaar
The episode also featured an intense confrontation involving Uorfi Javed and Raftaar. Accusations flew as both challenged each other’s loyalty.
Uorfi firmly declared, “Raftaar pagal ho gaya hai, baukhla gaya hai,” expressing frustration and promising, “I’m not the traitor. If I turn out to be the traitor, I’ll shave my head.”
Raftaar retaliated with equal intensity, stating, “If I turn out to be the traitor, I will stop rapping.”
Fellow contestant Sufi Motiwala didn’t hold back either, pointing fingers at Raftaar and asserting, “He is scared and giving away that he is a Traitor! Dude, he is spiralling, he has lost it.”
Ashish Vidyarthi Voted Out in Episode Six
Episode six continued the deception, with traitors Purav Jha and Elnaaz Norouzi staying under the radar.
The group, misled again, voted Ashish Vidyarthi out of the game, assuming he was one of the traitors. However, his innocence was revealed post-elimination, underlining the growing dominance of the traitors.
Raftaar Eliminated in Episode Seven
By episode seven, suspicions had grown against Raftaar due to his increasingly agitated demeanour. As the ‘Circle of Shaq’ gathered once more, Raftaar received the most votes.
Upon his exit, it was revealed that he, too, was innocent, dealing another blow to the innocent players’ attempts to expose the true traitors.
Current Contestants and Gameplay Dynamics
The remaining contestants now include Uorfi Javed, Apoorva Mukhija (Rebel Kid), Jannat Zubair, Sudhanshu Pandey, Elnaaz Norouzi, Purav Jha, Jasmine Bhasin, Harsh Gujral, Sufi Motiwala, Nikita Luther, and Anshula Kapoor.
Purav and Elnaaz, the current traitors, continue to outwit their fellow players while maintaining their cover.
Earlier in the season, Raj Kundra, who was a traitor, was caught and eliminated in episode two. Other contestants such as Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu, Karan Kundrra, and Janvi Gaur were also evicted in previous episodes.
Game Format and Host
The Traitors is structured around a psychological battle between two factions—Traitors and Innocents. While the traitors aim to eliminate innocents without revealing their identities, the innocents must identify and banish the traitors to survive.
Hosted by Karan Johar, the show brings a high-stakes blend of strategy, emotion, and betrayal to the screen.
