Trouble in Paradise? Hansika Motwani Sparks Separation Rumours After Deleting Wedding Posts

In recent weeks, speculation about Hansika Motwani’s separation from her husband, businessman Sohael Khaturiya, has been circulating on social media. A report last month suggested that the couple’s marriage might be in trouble.

The timing of the report and Hansika’s inactivity on Instagram appear to align. Known for films such as Aap Kaa Surroor, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, and My Name Is Shruthi, the actor hasn’t posted anything on her Instagram profile since July 18, 2025. She has also not shared any Instagram Stories since that date.

According to The Hindustan Times, which updated its report on July 19, 2025, the couple, who married in December 2022, has reportedly been living separately for some time.

“Hansika has moved in with her mother, while Sohael is staying with his parents. When the couple got married in December 2022, they initially moved in with Sohael’s family.

However, adjusting with a big family was an issue. So, they shifted into a condo in the same building. But it seems the problems have persisted,” a source told the publication.

While Hansika has not responded to the publication’s request for comment, Sohael Khaturiya addressed the report briefly by texting, “It’s not true.” He did not clarify whether the couple had been living apart or if they had officially parted ways.

Last Instagram Post Raises Eyebrows

Hansika’s most recent Instagram post featured a lighthearted reel with her mother, portraying their reactions “When TDS is not paid on time.” She has been notably quiet on social media since that post.

Hansika and Sohael were married on December 4, 2022. He proposed to her in Paris in November of the same year, in front of the Eiffel Tower. At the time, Hansika had shared pictures of the moment on Instagram with the caption, “Now and Forever.”

Although Hansika appears to have deleted her wedding pictures from Instagram, images from their Paris proposal and Haldi ceremony remain visible on her profile.

Criticism and Public Reaction

Sohael was previously married to a woman named Rinky Bajaj. Social media users criticized Sohael and Hansika after reports emerged that Hansika and Rinky had been friends.

Their relationship, once seen as close-knit, was now under public scrutiny due to this past connection.
